Last February, we sent out a survey to people aged 65 and over in order to better identify their needs, both in terms of the elements of the environment that are appreciated (advantages/strengths) and in terms of the obstacles encountered in the environment (elements to be improved).
We’ve now compiled the survey data, and have reached the stage of public consultations, or rather, focus groups. The aim is to get the pulse of the community via the café causerie concept, on certain mandatory MADA themes (including transportation and mobility, social participation, recreation, etc.).
If you’re 65 or over and would like to voice your opinion on these various themes and try to make a difference in improving the services we offer, we invite you to sign up for one of the discussion groups, which will take place on Wednesday May 21 in the basement of St-Barthélemy church, where coffee and pastries will also be available:
– From 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in French;
– 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm in English
To register, please contact the municipality at info@ayerscliff.ca or call 819-838-5006 no later than May 16, and mention which group you would like to join. Places are limited, so hurry! First come, first served!
Please find attached a report compiling the results of the survey: SURVEY REPORT (French only)
